Life Rings!

Life Rings!

Life rings are always rigmaroles and pricking
Oh how we desire to be identified as the special ones
How we desire to be in classes and statuses
How we long to draw the lines that envelop few
Every single day we long to join the key rings
The rings of; the G8, the poets, the intellects, the leaders,
The business class, the writers, the believers, the atheists and
Many more unending rings which I’m sure ring a bell to all
We are daily entering or leaving these rings
We build rings to feel secure from others
We build them to form classes away from others
We build them to prove some points to others
We build them to set boundaries between us n’ others
We build them to feed our egos on others
But is life all about us?
How about them; the others? The ‘rest’ as we like to call them...
By building rings don’t we leave others out in insecurity?
By building them don’t we outclass others?
By building them don’t we assume others are pointless?
By building them don’t we exclude others?
By building them don’t we crash others self esteem?
We may never stop building these rings
But we should always be watchful on what each brings
We should endeavour to love beyond the rings
Leave beyond the rings and to invite all into
The one and only eternal ring
 Where justice and righteousness reign

Dispuchos! KigeugeuS!

Premise:  I always find it so hard when dealing with people who are always sitting on the fence and never wanting to be or do anything. I have written this to highlight some pains of dealing with Dipsuchos and such situations. Dipsuchos is the Greek word translated as "double-minded" from dis , meaning "twice," andpsuche , meaning "mind." In Swahili such a person is called Kigeugeu!

Dipsuchos!
The turpitude world
Has created so many dipsuchos twits
They hardly do any but always say many
Giving half suggestions and never
working to seek any helpful solutions
Has always been their daily agenda
Like tweeters they are always loud
They swing on blaming anyone else
Apart from themselves when things goes wrong
They are always twitting how much they know
Never knowing if to sit or to stand
Never wanting to agree nor disagree
Confusion and confusing is their
Lifetime’s grand mastery
They flow with waves and storms
Like the balloons on a windy day
In their luke-warmness
They claim to be 'cool'
They love sitting on
The fences and hardly
Love it when the light is too bright
And when the truth is said n' the work done
To them is like a sharp needle's
Prick on a fully blown girnomous
Balloon as they burst out into
 Loud silence of withdrawal

The City Under the Sun!

The City Under the Sun!

In the city under the sun they all meet the sons
No doubter can be a daughter to this great city
For it is the faith and perseverance that gathers all
Of the nation’s people in their multiplicity of diversities
That life has to offer under the heat of the city's sun
The fun of the old golden days has all gone under
As the hustle to be hard has overtaken the loud
Persistent shouts of the sufferers to be heard
Everyone ever in hasty movements with no time
To tattle as everyone longs transcend life’s tussles
To dodge the drowning ship of the dreaded poverty
To overcome the daily roaring beast of corruption
N’ meet the social responsibility of family provision

In the city under the sun they all meet the sons
No doubter can be a daughter to this great city
Every single morning the harsh transport sector awaits
In the hands of the matatu drivers who are ever drunk of
Unending passion to competition as their matatu touts
Celebrate watching the once existent traffic soberness flow
Deep down the river of the city’s historical forgotten beauty
The traffic jam is like blood inside a fainted saint who longs
To restore it back to flow not for flows sake but to give back life
The longing to be at work in time every early morning n’get back
Home early in the evening to be with family or friends is ever
Seasoned with hot spiced stressful and uncalled for traffic jam
Bringing a feeling of deep helpless emotional torture to many

In the city under the sun they all meet the sons
No doubter can be a daughter to this great city
Life calls for more than any person would normally be in
Willingness to offer sadly for the prize is never proportional
To the hustle n’ the price that majority the people have to part
With daily without any option but to painfully offer themselves
To the city’s scorching sun from above, below and the sides as
Everyone endeavors to be the fastest early bird and to be in time
To get at least a piece of the city’s bitter competitive worm while
The nature of life demanding everyone to walk faster, work harder
Leave earlier, speak louder, charger higher, spend more, chat lesser,
Sleep lesser, eat lesser, drink lesser, health lesser yet hardly anyone
Earns more in the fast moving, fast growing, traffic jammed Nairobi

True Hope!

True Hope!

My confidence and
True hope
I will not build on
My own strengths or abilities
Nor my own weaknesses
For just so far they have
N’ can take me even
In this world
Where the soul
Finds not any
Lasting rest
For deeply I long
To see the beauty
That glitters beyond
The comprehension
Of my mortal being
That which not a
Single of the experiences
On earth can fully
Quantify nor satisfy is what
I long to get hold
Of one day

My confidence and
True hope
Shall I wholly peg
On him from whom
The eternal promise I have
Received and on
Whose blood my
Righteousness has been
Graciously granted
For indeed in my
Mortal body and
My countable days
I find not enough
Promise and hope
To rely on but
On him whom I believe
A new nature
Imperishable have
I been mercifully
Given connecting
Me to the path
 Eternal

The Daily Visitor!

The Daily Visitor!
Hi I thought I would pop around
And just say hi as I
Check how you are doing this day
It is not my first time to come round
As in I always think about you
Every single day and I always desire
To let you know that I do really love
You, yes it’s you that I mean

In fact my Father loved you so much
That he sent me his only son
To come down and leave the throne
For the sake of saving you
And I tell you what it was not easy for
Me to come down and die on the cross
But coz I loved my Father and He loved
You, yes it’s you that I mean

I came so that you would not end up in
Hell to perish but that when you believe
In me and what my father sent me to do
You would have eternal life
I hope you understand what eternal means
Forever and ever and ever
Just before I go I leave you one question
Where do you want to spend your eternity?

Heart Bursts!

Hearts bursts!

Seated right beside her queenly blossom
I joyfully smiled back to the beautiful rose
Deep joy vibrating within my glowing heart
Opening my entirety in humble preparedness
To ask her out to be my life's portion to dote on

Like a wise father’s son I had revised so well
My notes when it comes to starting a journey
Hoped to guide two into a lasting life affair
With a girl I have always longed to meet across
Life’s valleys n’ hills her I sought to love n’ cherish

She laid her heart bare before her beloved
To read the amazing lyrics of a love song she
Had been composing to the man who would
Become her delight in all the days of her living
How treasured I felt listening n’ watching her

Like a clever mother’s daughter she too knew
Her role so well and in patience and faithfulness
She had been waiting with hope for this journey
The glamorous feeling within her was clearly visible
As her elegant smile stole my heart and breath

We felt so overwhelmed and peaceful seated right
Inside each other’s hearts and as we exchanged the
Punctilious glances to each other our hearts were
Gladly nodding with great love and calmly I made my
Deep and sincere desires clear to her in soft words

The words from the bottom of my heart n’ soul felt like
A river of love being poured out into a golden jar of
My lovers heart and as I patiently looked straight into
Her lips I saw her words of acceptance drop like honey
Into my heart as both hearts burst into delighted dancing

Woe unto ye the earthlings!

Sin!
Oh of the things most complicated you are
How shall I explain you without complicating things
For those who dearly long to understand your evil
Ways and your false invitations to humans see how many
In your snare you have caught for none of us is immune
Of you and your grip in our natural life see how many
Find comfort in their sinful ways instead of understanding
You and seeking help they have sought to waste time
Disqualifying him in whom you stand inferior and defeated
Woe unto ye the earthlings who know not what sin doeth!

Oh sin! Damned are they who know not you and know
Not that they know not you for them you have enslaved
In your snare within their fallen nature have they been
Content in their evil ways against their creator n’ all creation
Woe too unto them who have known you and chosen your
Path of destruction them you daily mislead causing death n’ evil
as you daily their hearts and souls hold in fallen captivity
the way of folly n’ pride have they chosen not even acknowledging
him who controls their daily breath sustaining their lives with care
Woe unto ye the earthlings who know not where sin leadeth!

Oh sin! Happy are they who have known n’ seen you n’
Understood the pain of your sting for only them have known
Their fallen state to mourn and repent of their sin’s stain
Wiping it away by the Son of the Almighty's blood shed on
The cross where your are forever defeated with right n' light
Such beings who have believeth in the given Son will perish not
For in humility and faith have they accepted the loving invitation
Into the Almighty’s undeserved grace have their redemption been given
And they rejoice in the promised gift of the Saviour’s eternal life
Woe unto ye the earthlings who know not how sin to defeat!
Seen!
