Within us lives the life's big assignment,
On our shoulders rests the great mission,
On us who are living this hour,
On us who are the learned of the day,
On us whom suffering has left it's marks,
On us with knowledge and understanding,
On us who are privileged to lead the rest,
Not without responsibility have we received,
Not till we account for every possession;
Shall we be content with our life's toil.
Within us lives the life's big assignment,

On us who have lived a little longer,
On us whose eyes can still see,
On us whose faith still shines the light,
On us whose ears can still hear,
On us whose hearts can still love,
Not without responsibility have we received,
Not till we account for every possession;
Shall we be content with our life's toil.

To preserve the creation for those of the future,
To use our life lessons to light the dark world,
To encourage those who are facing hardships,
To ease others burdens with fruits of our knowledge,
To lead in justice and righteousness for all,
Not without responsibility have we received,

Shall we be content with our life's toil.
Within us lives the life's big assignment,
On our shoulders rests the great mission,
To mentor, train and guide our youth,
To walk the blind along the dark paths of life,
To let the faith's light in us light the entire world,
To communicate His message of hope to the people,
To show love, care and compassion to the world
